I was browsing Facebook on my mobile phone yesterday morning when this update from the official Facebook page of Lakas Kampi CMD presidential candidate Gilbert Teodoro popped up:

It read: “AbsCbn Media Deserves Garote”

A few minutes later, the update was removed.

So, was this a late April Fool’s joke or his account was really hacked?

As of Feb. 14, 10:00 pm, only about 31,000 fans separate Aquino and Villar.

Noynoy Aquino: 654,569 fans

Manny Villar: 623,155 fans

Gibo Teodoro: 153,450 fans

Eddie Villanueva: 29,821 fans

Dick Gordon: 15,354 fans

Joseph Estrada, 7,608 fans

Nick Perlas: 3,436 fans

Jamby Madrigal: 599 fans

JC de los Reyes: 559 fans

Curiously, administration candidate Gibo Teodoro lags a far third despite his media machinery’s boasts that Arroyo’s choice is the top choice among online Filipino and young voters.

Vetallano Acosta of the Kilusang Bagong Lipunan apparently has no Facebook fan page.

Aquino also leads Villar on the number of Twitter followers: 31,100 for the LP bet, while the NP candidate has 1,035.

The situation is different over at Friendster: Villar is the runaway winner in a head-to-head with Aquino. Villar has garnered 16,115 fans while Aquino has only 1,676 fans.
