Advertising agencies ought give something back to the public as they continue to cash in on big spending by presidential candidates for television advertising. One thing that they could give Filipinos is a permanent online archive of advertisements by these candidates.

Such a project would be a showcase for the companies that made them and make a great resource for students and fans of Philippine advertising. For voters, we would always have a reminder of the claims and promises of all candidates, especially those by the winner.

There is such an online archive in the US called The Living Room Candidate which has all TV ads by presidential candidates since the 1952 elections won by Ike Eisenhower

until 2008 when Barack Obama was elected as first African-American president
